Friday Post-Week 1

What interested me most about the color blue article is that people could not see the color blue before modern days and the Egyptians were the first ones to discover the color blue. The article says the perception and reality are two different things because perception is what we interoperate the world as and reality is what the world is actually like in real life.
My experience with journalism today is that I look on social media what is going on with it today and I think that Journalists should switch to social media to get more people to read the articles they publish. What I make of the new models is that reporters are slowly making a huge impact on the world right now because in some country’s they enjoy reading the news on actual paper because they don’t get paper in their countries.
What I think Discourse community means is that it is a group of people that have a common interest that the other person shares and shares the same language as the other person because it is easier to be on the same level as the other person that you are with. How I understand this concept is that you need to work together as a group and collaborate to get the same ideas. This is a new concept for me and what is interesting to me is that you need to find people that talk the same language as you.
